We offer a flexible schedule for youth and adult programs and retreats. These programs are tailored to meet the needs of people with differing interests, goals, and time commitments. The museum itself provides a wealth of information about the Catholic Faith through a detailed historical encounter of the Church.
To see the entire museum, please plan for at least a one hour visit. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
For tours throughout the week, please call 614-600-0054.
As part of our goal to expand our educational programming, we’re launching a lecture series on assorted topics related to faith and culture. These lectures will take place on Thursday nights once a month, and will be preceded by light refreshments.
Our first speaker will be Debbi Dach Sugarman, the daughter of the late Morris Dach, a Holocaust survivor whose story you may have heard in brief if you’ve ever had a tour of our Synagogue Room.
Debbi sent us a quick preview to tell us about her talk:
“I am the daughter of a Holocaust survivor-we are known as the 2nd generation. My father Morris Dach was born in Plonsk, Poland and was in the Birkenau/Auschwitz concentration camps.
I will tell his story as well as how I figured out that something was different in my family. My father passed away in 2003 and was passionate about speaking to children and other organizations and telling his story so the world will never forget. I continue to speak and tell his story in memory of the millions that do not have a voice.
The evening I speak is the anniversary of the Warsaw ghetto uprising.”
The evening will also include the opportunity to see the works of Alfred Tibor, another Holocaust survivor who went on to become a great sculptor. His powerful works feature both Old Testament and Holocaust-related themes, and will soon be on display in a new gallery at the Jubilee Museum.
The format for our first lecture (and the upcoming ones) will be as follows:
6:15- Doors open, light refreshments will be available, you’ll have the opportunity to meet fellow friends of the museum and take a look at what’s new in our collection.
7:00- Lecture, with time for Q&A at the end.
8:00- The event officially ends, but you’re invited to join us afterward at a local brewery or pub as continue the conversation over drinks.
